Would try any local stair lift Company around your area that may be able to help, the reason for the change was the Plastic one would snap if the footplate was lifted manually.

the grey coms wire should have between 8v – 12v when the lift reaches the top it should jump to 24v when swivel kicks in and drop back down. you say you have a powered footplate did that work ?? if both are not work inside the pack there is a 5amp fuse check this if that is all fine then the issue will start from the main pcb the change over relay is jammed and will need replaced if it has shorted it my have took out the 126pcb as well

Hi
The link cable must be fitted at the end of the rail and connected to the charger and yes it has magical properties in what it does, does the charger have a green led on it ?? if not remove the charger from the rail and recheck if no light will need replaced but link cable must be fitted

agree with the answer Clive gave and for the last part No it cant be disabled warning alarm that the rail and lift are moving

The pack switches that you need to check means you would need to remove the lift from the rail to do this also 0 code can be caused if the overspeed govener has been tripped ..on the main board if you can see it is it green connectors of white ones
