The Home Access Technician is a critical role acting as the face of our company responsible for the installation, service and repair of home accessibility equipment, including but not limited to, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, and permanent ramping systems inside and outside the homes and businesses of clients.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

    • Deliver premier customer experience efficiently and correctly installing and servicing home accessibility equipment.
      • Treat customers with courtesy and respect
      • Ensure installation and service are done properly the first time
      • Leave work site as clean or cleaner than when you arrived
      • Demonstrate proper use of equipment to customers ensuring they are comfortable using the equipment.
    • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude including ability to read and follow schematics and installation instructions.
    • Discipline and can-do attitude following and maintaining installation schedule completing all jobs within accepted standard time limits.
    • Willingness to travel within broad sales territory potentially requiring overnight travel up to 75% of the time.
    • Pro-active communication when issues arise.
    • Ensure high level of quality in adherence to MobilityWorks company standards.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
    • Attend and participate in company and department meetings, in-services, and trainings as required.
    • Maintain all licenses and certifications required to perform assigned duties.
