I have a Beep problem

Hi all just to say hello and post a quick question
i have a Acorn 120 lift the problem is it beep's away all the time even when on the charge points the beep is different to the normal beep beep etc this is now gives 1 beep then 2 beeps in close time ( 3 beeps in all ) when lift on charge points with the red lead disconnected it still beeps.
any help i would be grateful.

Problem now sorted turned out to be a capacitor had blown on the board.

Glad you got your problem fixed.
Just out of intrest and for future repair how did you come to finding out it was a capasitor and which one was it?
Would really help
