Acorn charging problem

Hi everyone hope someone can help i have a Acorn superglide 120 2002 model
no problems until i had a new boiler fitted on Monday 08/March 2010 since workmen have left the house when i put the chair lift on the charge points the chair sounds 3 beeps 1 long and 2 short different beat to when the power off warning sounds tested for voltage all ok and there are no fault codes showing.
help please as we can not use the lift as we cant charge it up as the noise of the beeps is driving us daft.
any help would be welcome.

Sounds to me like you got yourself a pcb fault. I'd have the pcb checked out if I were you.
As a rule the acorn don't have a beep code system it usally led or seven segment displays.
The is a company call mr electroincs you can find them by going into googel and typing (mr electonics stairlifts) in and you should come across a very reliable repair service.
Also the company is very well priced.
